What we run
The 2026/27 season is planned around three kinds of event.
Test and Tune
Six are planned this season, all on a Saturday. An afternoon and evening of timed runs on the runway: drivers sort out their cars, and you can watch from the barriers.
Headline weekends
More than 900 spectators came to the first Line 'Em Up, on 4 and 5 April 2026. It is our Easter weekend: racing, local vendors and a crowd to match. Proving Grounds is planned for late November 2027 to close the season.
Away
Nevis in May. The Grenada International Drags in September. In 2026 our competitors travelled to both, and we organise Dominica's delegations to regional events. Trips we are planning are on the calendar above.
Coming to watch
Come and watch. Our events at Canefield Airport are open to spectators, and this is what to expect.
Where
Canefield Airport. The runway closes to aircraft for each event, and the racing happens on the runway itself.
When
Test and Tune days run from the afternoon into the evening, and headline weekends across several days. Times and admission details for each event go up here when its date is confirmed.
Staying safe
Watch from behind the barriers and follow the marshals' directions. Marshals, a medical team and an ambulance are on site at every event.
Food and drink
Local vendors set up at our events: 15 or more of them at Line 'Em Up in 2026.
Coming to race
Bring your car. Contact the Alliance well before the day with the date you want to run at, and we will talk you through how the day runs and what to bring.
What to send us
Your name, the date you want to run at, and your car's make, model and year, with any modifications. Use the subject “Racing at an event”.
Coming from another island
Bringing a car to Dominica? Email us as early as you can. Shipping between islands takes planning, which is why our planned dates go up early. We will tell you whether visiting cars can run at that event, and share what we know about getting a car here and back.
Before your car runs
Every car goes through our pre-event safety check, so check yours against the vehicle check form and hand it in at the vehicle check point on the day.
Last season
In 2025 we took cars to Grenada, Saint Vincent and Saint Lucia.
Line 'Em Up 2026
The first Line 'Em Up, at Canefield Airport on 4 and 5 April 2026. More than 900 spectators, more than 90 vehicles, and visitors from Saint Lucia and neighbouring islands. Elijah Paul won A Class.
Grenada International Drags 2026
In September we took the largest group of Dominican race cars yet to travel to Grenada, for the Grenada Motor Club's meeting at Pearls International Speedway.
Nevis 2026
In May our competitors travelled to Nevis to compete.
